Wondering how to improve your direct moxa technique?
Opening your mind to new knowledge is always a demanding exercise. Improving what we already know (or what we think we know) requires much more. The solution lies in two aspects: finding someone who has already experienced the same difficulties and found the solution, and giving yourself the opportunity to learn again.
Before continuing, I'm going to tell you a personal experience.
The first time I tried to make a moxa cone, it was a complete disaster. I got very nervous and started sweating profusely. The thing was tiny and stuck everywhere. in all but the point. Later I realized that the person teaching me really had no idea. Between the lack of focus and my inexperience, all that came to my mind were ideas like 'This is impossible to do' or 'How is something so small going to work'.
What I didn't know was that everything was about to change rapidly. MY TECHNIQUE, MY MIND, AND MY SKILL. The cones were about to truly become my allies in my therapeutic practice.
He did it the moment I found the person who did know and who also knew how to teach it.
Night turned into day
My mind changed completely
My dexterity with the cones improved enormously.and
And of course, there was no trace of the initial despair. Now I understood perfectly what to do and how.
A student once asked me:
-Why do my cones burn so much? Is it because I didn't practice enough?
And I answered him:
-Your cones burn so much because there are errors in their construction and application. If these errors aren't corrected, they will perpetuate your practice.
I offer this workshop with my teaching method for making cones so that those who want to improve can do so.
Now is the time to ask yourself: Do I want to improve?
A secret: "Good technique allows for absolute control of the situation and the desired effects."
